Absolutely obsessed with the matcha croissant collab between Claude Bakery and Isshiki Matcha! I had their: Regular-sized Matcha Croissant – perfectly crisp outside, filled with the most luscious matcha crème inside. Hands down, the best matcha croissant I’ve ever had. French Vanilla Cold Foam Matcha Latte – smooth, flavorful, and topped with the cutest mini matcha croissant. It’s the kind of drink you sip slowly because you don’t want it to end. Claude Bakery always nails flavor and texture, and this matcha collaboration just takes it to another level. A must-try for pastry fans alike!

Claud has been on my list for some time and finally got to try. First thing first, the staff is super welcoming and helpful (I believe he is the owner himself). Second, the chocolate cake lives up the hype! Rich, flavorful, juicy, and not too sweet!! Such a simple, yet, legit chocolate cake I had in a while. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

First off I called the location just to see if there were any cinnamon rolls left. Luckily one was left over and I was able To finally indulge in the hype. This by far best cinnamon rolls I've had with subtle cream cheese flavoring, softness , gooeyness. Overall delicious is my point !

Decadent bakery with unique flavors. I strongly recommend to treat yourself to one of their pastries if you are in the west village! Staff was welcoming and the seating is very cosy.

Tried the Heirloom Tomatoes croissant honestly, better than I expected. Tomatoes were fresh and juicy, olive oil was clean, and the chive Swiss kept it light. The 24-month Mimolette at the end adds a nice sharp kick that pulls everything together. Simple combo, but it works. Not heavy, easy to finish.

Claude Bakery in the West Village is an absolute gem. Everything I tried was exceptional — the chocolate cake is genuinely to die for, rich and perfectly balanced, and the crème brûlée croissant is unforgettable with its flaky layers and caramelized top. The coffee was delicious and expertly made, making it the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the moment. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite. A must-visit if you’re in the neighborhood — I’ll definitely be back.

Yes the blackout cake is very good - rich in flavor and a great dessert to share. I’d suggest getting items to-go, it gets crowded easily and the shop itself is too small to fit more than 4 people comfortably.

I didnt see any.. so I decided just to get an iced cappuccino. It was delicious. One of the better ones I've had in the area!! The staff is friendly🧁🧁 Nice little shop with like 3 or 4 small tables

What I really love about Claude is how they source ingredients from local farmers’ markets and build their pastries around the seasons. Also good to know their pastries are made with Isigny French butter. No wonder the laminated layers are so flaky, rich, and buttery! Pro tip: go early for the seasonal pastries and sweet corn danish. They were completely sold out when I came after 1PM on the weekend! *Strawberry Danish $8.5 ** New addition to their summer lineup! Flaky, buttery layers filled with creamy custard and sweet-tart compote. Every bite is fruity and sweet, and I love that the glazed pastry stays crunchy. Easily my favorite from this haul. *Sweet Corn Pastry $8.5 The corn is pretty subtle, while I was actually hoping for more corn flavor. The dulce de leche steals the show with its rich, caramel-y sweetness. It’s more like a dessert with a hint of savory corn. *Heirloom Tomato Croissant $8.5 While I wouldn’t say it’s the best heirloom tomato pastry I’ve ever had, I do love how it’s generously topped with shredded aged mimolette for extra savory depth, and the natural tomato flavor really shines through. *Plain Croissant $5.25 * Seriously one of the best plain croissants I’ve had recently. So simple but so good. I’d happily get this again.
